Our Adult Dogs

Dachshunds

If you do not already know about these incredibly spunky and curious little ones, let me tell you more!

Dachshund is a German term meaning “badger dog” and they were literally bred to dig their way into badger dens and evict these little critters from their cozy little homes. The Dachshund’s low, long bodies were made to wiggle and dig into small spaces, and the standardization of this breed over the years has transitioned them from burrowing and hunting dogs to these soft, sweet little house pups that you will find absolutely irresistible when looking for the newest addition to your family!

Dachshunds are standardized according to their size, coat and color. Their standard size is from 8-9 inches and they generally weigh from 16-32 pounds. Their coats are bred in three different varieties: smooth, wirehaired and longhaired. Their standard colors range from cream, chocolate and cream, chocolate and tan, black and tan, black and cream, blue and tan, blue and cream and believe it or not, even more variations!

However wonderful it is to know about the genetic qualities of these wonderful dogs, the most important qualities you must consider when choosing your new family member is that these bold, vivacious, quirky little hounds are smart, vigilant, and endearing little superstars that will win your heart as soon as you meet them!

Golden Retrievers

It is assumed most Goldens need little introduction, but these beautifully bred English Creams are noteworthy parents to say the least!

Golden Retrievers have been around since as early as the 1840’s in Scotland and at the turn of the century in Brittan. Back then, they were mostly used as great hunting companions, but they did not really gain popularity in the Americas until around the 1970’s – where they started to become the friendly family icon that we now know.

Goldens are sturdy, muscular dogs of medium stature. Their lustrous golden creamy coat, broad heads, straight muzzle, powerful gait, and their muscular forequarter and hindquarter legs are some of the trademarks we look for when seeking out properly bred goldens.

Their friendly intelligent eyes and their eager-to-please, alert, and self-confident personalities is what has one the heart of millions of families over the years.

English Creams are of British bloodlines and our adults Noah and Grace are bred and certified English and American Creams.
